ONLINE 4G TECHNOLOGY RESOURCE & DISCUSSION FORUM

The African Broadband Forum is mobilising the penetration of broadband into Africa. It aims to lead the rapid deployment of 4G based systems based on open standards and encompassing all core architectures, leading to a massive increase in the use of the internet to meet the needs of markets in Greater Africa. Members of the forum share business and technology information and resources at conferences, online and directly between the fixed line and by the wireless access techniques of CDMA (EVDO & HSPA) and the looming OFDMA ( LTE & WiMax) operators, backhaul suppliers (fibre cable, satellite & microwave), cable and tower installers and operators, broadcasters, manufacturers, software companies, value added suppliers, government, academia and the users in Africa
